The Quadratic Funding Collection
In 2018, Ethereum Foundation founder Vitalik Butertin, Harvard economist Zoe Hitzig, and RadicalxChange founder Glen Weyl published a proposal for a more equitable model for funding public goods projects. Called “Liberal Radicalism,” their paper proposed a new mathematical foundation for directing resources towards projects in a way that benefits the greatest number of people — an approach now known as quadratic funding.
